Browse Kenmore People Directories

Kenmore people directories do not come from one master list. Useful names and public contact details are spread across city, school, county, state, property, business, and historical sources. Choosing the right directory depends on the person’s connection to Kenmore. Current public roles call for an agency roster, while a past resident may require regional directories, archives, and local history collections.

Where Kenmore People Directories Keep Their Names

Each Kenmore directory answers a narrow question. Agency rosters identify public contacts, education directories identify present faculty or staff, and property systems identify a taxpayer or recorded party. Historical people directories reach farther back, but regional labels matter because Kenmore did not incorporate until 1998. Start with the source whose purpose matches the connection you already know.

A directory entry is a lead tied to the source’s scope and date, not proof of a person’s present home. For the rules governing access to agency records beyond these indexes, use the Kenmore public records guide.

Note: Kenmore has no official directory of all current residents, and no authoritative current local white-pages roster was found.

Inside Kenmore’s A-Z City Staff Directory

The City of Kenmore staff directory is the main municipal people directory. It is free, needs no login, and works as an alphabetical browser instead of a typed search box. Select All, #, or a letter. Names appear surname first, which makes the browse useful when only the start of a last name is known.

The directory combines staff with elected officials but does not publish home addresses or personal numbers. If the person is absent, browse the relevant department, then use its main line. City Hall is also reachable at 425-398-8900 during its published weekday hours.

Kenmore Government Directory Entries Beyond City Hall

Kenmore residents deal with county and state offices whose staff do not appear in the city roster. The King County employee directory accepts optional first and last names and can connect an employee to groups, services, business contacts, descriptions, and locations. WA.gov brings agency and employee contacts into a unified state directory.

The official Washington state employee contact directory shows how the statewide search is presented. Its single field accepts an agency or employee name, and results may link to an employee phone or agency site.

This wider roster is useful when the known connection is a Washington program rather than a Kenmore department. The Washington Legislature also publishes current contacts plus telephone and committee directories reaching back to 1929.

Public contactBusiness phone, email, location, or agency link where published

Note: Browse by department or agency when a function is known but the staff member’s full name or spelling is uncertain.

Northshore and UW Bothell Directories Near Kenmore

The Northshore School District directory provides the strongest public school-staff search serving Kenmore. Its public interface has one optional Keyword field and a Search Directory button. On inspection it displayed 3,318 entries over 158 pages, with 21 results per page. Cards show a name and district email, and some include a View Site link.

The image below comes from the district’s official staff directory and shows the public keyword-led route available to Kenmore searches.

A richer school, department, and title tool redirected to Microsoft sign-in, so those filters should not be treated as open public features. The directory also gives no historical coverage or export.

Nearby UW Bothell’s faculty directory allows name search and filters for Business, Educational Studies, Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences, Nursing & Health Studies, and STEM. Public results show faculty name and school, with profiles that may add a role, contact details, and expertise. Bastyr University has individual pages, but no public campus-wide directory was found.

Kenmore Property Rolls as Owner Directories

A street address can lead to a name through the King County Parcel Viewer. Search by address, parcel, or condominium name, open the match, and follow its links to the full eReal Property report. The parcel detail can show the current taxpayer or owner, mailing address, legal description, land and building facts, value, and sales history.

Keep the situs address separate from the taxpayer mailing address. The first describes the land; the second is where assessment or tax mail goes. A mismatch can suggest a trust, business, updated contact point, or an owner who does not occupy the parcel. It does not establish where a named person lives.

Address-to-name trail: Kenmore street address → Parcel Viewer match → ten-digit parcel number → eReal Property taxpayer entry → recorded deed for verification.

For older owners, use sales history only as a lead. Landmark indexes recorded documents from 1976 forward, and the archives hold the earlier name index and property cards.

Kenmore Names in the Grantor-Grantee Directory Trail

The Recorder’s index acts like a dated people directory for parties to deeds, liens, releases, plats, and other recorded documents. King County’s recorded-document guide explains that Landmark covers 1976 to the present, with most images available from August 1, 1991 forward. Results from 1976 through July 31, 1991 may lack an image.

The 1853-1975 General Recordings Index remains on microfilm at King County Archives. Search by grantor or grantee name and a date range. Parcel searching reaches only 1997 forward and was not consistent until about 2002, so a name or legal-description pivot is often better for older Kenmore property.

Directory term: A grantor transfers an interest; a grantee receives one. Either role records a transaction, not a current address.

Note: The free index supplies a time-specific role; an image or ordered copy is the source to read for the instrument’s full context.

Professional and Business People Directories for Kenmore

Business and professional people directories are split by purpose. The Washington Corporations and Charities Filing System searches an entity name or nine-digit UBI and offers advanced filters for type, status, dates, registered agent, and governor. Results can expose entity name, UBI, status, offices, registered agent, governors, and filing history. Those are filed business roles, not proof of ownership or residence.

KCLS Genealogy Directories for a Kenmore Search

The Kenmore Library at 6531 NE 181st Street is the local door into King County Library System research help. KCLS genealogy and biography resources include in-library Ancestry Library Edition, free FamilySearch, Nineteenth Century U.S. Newspapers, Washington Digital Newspapers focused mostly before 1923, and card-gated America’s News with the Seattle Times Collection.

The official KCLS resource page below shows the database route that supports a historical Kenmore directory search.

These tools can link a directory name to news, census, probate, or family records. KCLS does not publish exact Kenmore-branch years for phone books, reverse directories, yearbooks, obituary indexes, or newspaper microfilm, so call 425-486-8747 or ask the library before planning around a specific volume.

Historical Kenmore Directories Across the Regional Shelves

Historical Kenmore people directories are usually regional because the community predates the city government. Seattle Public Library has 34 digitized city-directory volumes spanning selected years from 1867 through 1940. The digital city-directory collection includes Seattle, Ballard, and King County titles; its 1928 House and Street Directory is the earliest address-first reverse directory in that set.

The Puget Sound Regional Archives in Bellevue takes appointments Wednesday through Friday. Viewing is free, while copies and special research may cost. A request works best with name variants, dates, places, and a narrow directory year.

Note: The final Polk year held by the archives marks its collection endpoint, not proof that directory publication stopped then.

Why Old Kenmore Directory Names Shift Across Places

Kenmore incorporated on August 31, 1998, but the settlement name dates to 1901. A person connected to the area before incorporation may be filed under King County, north Lake Washington, Bothell-area schools, or a Seattle regional directory. School consolidation with Bothell in 1916 is one reason an older pupil or teacher may not appear beneath a Kenmore heading.

1852 onwardKing County’s territorial-era institutions begin the broader records trail.
1901The community receives the Kenmore name associated with John McMaster’s mill.
1913Squire Boulevard, later Bothell Brick Road and Red Brick Highway, opens; try each road name in old sources.
1998Kenmore incorporates, creating the municipal records era.

The Kenmore Heritage Society digital collections add stories, photographs, firsthand accounts, and names tied to schools, mills, clubs, and roads. Its community memory is valuable for clues, but contributed captions should be checked against a dated directory, newspaper, or government record. The 1923 mill fire was a local event, not evidence of destroyed county records.
